If you arrive during the summer, you’ll be able to take advantage of a small organic vegetable garden just outside your door. Fresh vegetables along with tomatoes, blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries are all planted for your enjoyment.
Shower with the sun
Vancouver isn’t always sunny, but when it is, there’s nothing better than waking up to a shower of light. You’ll also enjoy luxurious cotton towels and heated tile floors.
If you’re staying at the Hideaway for an extended period, we’re happy to replace your towels and linens on a regular basis.

You’ll sleep well on our pillow-topped bed that’s covered in luxurious bedding - just the escape you need at the end of a long day.
Garden central
The Hideaway is a free standing coach house situated in the middle of an award winning garden designed by Anne Talbot-Kelly. Featured on the Ballet BC Home and Garden Tour as well as the Van Dusen Private Garden Tour, the Hideaway enjoys stunning garden views, both day and night.
If you’re a veggie gardener, or just a lover of fresh food, help yourself to the organic vegetable garden. We plant enough to share.
Dine in style
If it’s a garden view you like, enjoy a quiet dinner beside the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the garden. A small stereo with IPod and MP3 docking station will set the mood. Or if you’re craving your favourite show, just flip on the wall-mounted flat screen TV and enjoy.
